Whats your "catch phrase"

I walk around daily quoting movies – most often adapting them to as I see fit ;-)

When I set the house alarm I tend to go with: “Trust me, when you start having little Fockers running around you’ll feel the need to this type of security” – old for the family, but great for company !

Look at wife as we sit for dinner hold up fingers “like warm apple pie” – adults laugh hysterically kids shake heads

Kids ask me what they can do “just keep swimming” then I walk away “swimming, swimming, just keep swimming” – man do they get p’d (finding Nemo, but you should know that already!)

I am sure Bogart would forgive me – tank maintenance time “of all the reef tanks in all the towns in all the world, you swim into mine”

Kids leave with friends to go outside “Have fun storming the castle!” – all you hear is 10 kids with a synchronized “huh?”, then my kids have to explain dad is weird. Tried to get them to watch princess bride, but not into it….bummer

Wake 12 year old son in morning – “Hello, my name is Ingio Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die” pull out automatic nurf gun with 30 round clip, jump on bed and take him out. But these days he knows its coming and runs.

Never a day goes by without me quoting movies, no catch phrase for me – just movie quotes that I enjoy very much. Can’t mention most of my favorites on here due to language ;-)

 

I use "we will figure it out" when
A. I don't really care, or
B. Not really paying attention

When some says I have a question I reply "the answer is 42 read the book or watch the movie". Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Also, no matter what is going on or how the bad/good the weather is " It's another beautiful day". I get varied responses such as "You must not be in Bakersfield".

 

lol thats funny, when some one asks a question i have no clue what theyre talkin about the first thing out of my mouth is either "7" or "spaceship"
