My 6 and 4 lines are crazy jumpers. The six is constantly looking for an opening. Once after moving the lid on my solana over a couple inches to feed and forgetting to move it back he flew out and almost landed in my girlfriends lap.
A melanurus would be nice too. Mine have never tried to jump. The radiant on the other hand tries all the time.

good to know my LFS guy who is pretty knowlegeable had told me that the 6-lines weren't too prone to jumping but it's variable I guess. He never had an issue with them in his open tops luckily either did I. My 6-line was actually mysteriously killed by one of my other fish.

    strange

I have also had 6 lines and I dont recall any jumping
and my Radient has never seemed interested in going beyond the water surface either

but my bananna wrasse did, and luckily my son was playing at the dinning table , he heard the splash and saw the fish on the floor, picked it up, put it back and it was shaken but survived the experience

    your mileage may vary

All wrasses are prone to jumping. Keep one without a screen top and you're playing roulette.

Also, 6 lines are notorious for being a huge bully. I would veer away from that genus all together.

Leopard wrasses are a more difficult genus to keep. They need a very well established tank.

if u get a sixline small and its one of the last fish you get you shouldnt have problems with aggression and i agree you should get some sort of cover. my sixline jumped =[ but then that let me get a mandarin so it all worked out =]

Not terribly over-priced, on the high end, but not out of the ballpark. $150 would have been better.

They may eat your crabs, and possibly snails, though.
