My favorites are definitely the possum wrasses. Here is my breeding pair of yellow bar possums. I have a white bar possum in another tank too.

To some of the concerns mentioned, I do have a top and I do have a Yellow Coris wrasse. The Coris was free from a local reefer. I have had him for a year with absolutely no issues. With this wrasse I would have to say it's reef safe with caution. Guess I got lucky! I have gotten some great suggestions, any more?

Call me simple, but I love 6-line wrasses.

Ah, good. No, I wouldn't say you were lucky as a yellow "coris" is not a coris wrasse at all (genus); they're a Halichoeres wrasse.

A McCosker's should be alright with him, if that's what you're set on.

See, that wrasse isn't really a "coris" wrasse, as I mentioned before. As it is a halichoeres, it IS reef safe. The worst that any halichoeres can do is eat feather dusters, and not all do that.

Some idiot, probably in the fish trade, named the fish a coris wrasse, and that name stuck.

To those that are mentioning 6 lines, yeah, they are neat fish, but as evolved has mentioned, can get very mean, especially to other wrasse additions. When a 20 dollar 6 line kills a 100 dollar fairy wrasse, then the opinions of those that like the 6 lines now, would probably change.

As far as radiant wrasses jumping, these typically don't jump. Mine has no interest in attempting to see what is above the water line.

    +1 to everything here.

I like my McCoskers flasher if you can keep a pair/trio/harem. The fins are incredible when the male flashes. I would recommend sticking to the 3" max size fairy and flasher wrasses. Even my 3" fairy wrasse that is really active (Conde's fairy) uses all 4' of my 75g tank, I would feel bad if he had to do circles all day. YMMV depending on the exact species.

I don't own one, but if I do get one it would be a carpenters or filamented.
