Any of the flasher wrasses would be perfect in a tank that size.

Far, far from it my friend. I could name 30-40 species if I was so inclined.

    Exactly.

Wrasses are one of the most common and numerous fish species in the world.

I really dont like most wrasses. Call me crazy but I just dont see them as being that awesome usually. I guess I am more of a tang kinda guy. I do really like the sixline we have though. He is really aggressive to new comers which isnt all that great, but he is one of the most interesting fish in the tank. I really like leopard wrasses too, but thats about it for me.

Thanks for all the responces. But, I think I am going with the McCosker's Flasher Wrasse. I think the size will be nice and I love the colors!

Good choice on the McCosker's. The six lines are definitely jumpers. I lost two to jumping before I got a good tank cover. Now I don't keep them at all because of they seem to be bullies.

I'm also wrasse shopping. I'm looking for the right melanarus. but you've already got a halichoeres.

    Good luck with you're McCoskers!!!

just to throw my 2 cents in

i have a yellow and melanurous wrasse, both Halichoeres. both are great fish....however not quite as reef safe as advertised. mine do pick on snails and crabs on occasion, normally they have to be flipped over when i am messing with the tank.
