As with others here I really feel good watching thing grow.makes me feel i`ve helped out nature and our hobby,so we can spread frags instead of harvesting the oceans..(now for the selfish part lol)..its great when you have people over and during conversation they just keep staring at the tank(ohhing and ahhhing),and sometime helping them start their own system.....last BUT not least, spreading the info I have learned from others(mostly from here 3reef;D)

I would like to say thanks to ReefBruh because its the service men and women of this country that let us enjoy such an awesome hobby! I really enjoy just watching my tank, and seeing all the hard work that I put into the tank, pay off. I did too jump into this hobby not knowing much at all but then I found 3reef and other hobbyist like Steve and 2in10, just to mention a few, they really educated me quickly. So I really just loved the learning curve on taking care of a beautiful reef tank. Also keeping up with the new technology thats coming out every few months is fun, but man it keeps our wallets pretty light :)

    This will sound weird but...

The most rewarding thing in this hobby for me is smelling the "ocean". I grew up on the beach and have known salt air all my life. After moving to WV for school, I missed the stickiness of the air. From time to time i stick my nose in the tank or sump and take a deep breath and feel like I'm back at home.

I also enjoy trying to do the tank better all the time. it is like a goal you never reach, but is lots of fun trying.

I appreciate the love T but you don't have to thank me. It was part of the job. If I could do it all over again, ill be right in the mix.

Having a girlfriend who is just as addicted to this as I am. We rarely sit in front of the TV. We would much rather just stare into my tank for hrs.

I am also able to gain so much knowledge from this hobby, for my future career, as a marine biologist! :)[/QUOTE]

I love watching my tank evolve. Plus, I love when people come over and just stare at the tank and ask questions. Its funny when they watch the shrimp and whine when she hides back in her rock.
