The most rewarding part for me is waking up in the morning while my wife is at work and being greeted by the fish when I sit on the floor in front of my tank. Their happiness is what it is all about and thats why I love this hobby!

Yea i agree 100% being from WI i see no ocean, lol and ive only been to the ocean once in my life, and that was for a 4hr scuba diving trip when i was in mexico, but the reef they took us on had no good coral it was all very much dead, or brown, i think my favorite part was getting 2 ft away from a 12ft barracuda while everyone else swam to the boat i got closer... ;D

I scuba dive and being in washington i don't get to see much of the tropical side to diving so seeing it in my room makes up for it. Makes me extra jolly when it looks beautiful.

I work nights at a very stressful job and suffer from insominia.

I sit in front of ny tank for about 30 minutes and it relaxes me enough so i can go to bed, its a great subsisution to dogs and cats (even though I own both :p), and its just plain cool. ;D
