100% spot on Guitarman. Many people don't realize that any fish in the Pomacentridae family can be extremely aggressive towards other tankmates. Clownfish can be just as aggressive, I can't remember how many times I have read about clownfish biting their caregivers hands while they were in the tank for maintanance, I have even heard about them drawing blood in some cases. Kind of scarey to think about, but it has happend. Another thing people often oversee is the fact that fish never truely stop growing untill they die. When fish get bigger they require more habbitat to claim their own, and if there are too many fish in an aquarium they may feel like sardines packed tightly together, which is bound to have some aggression.

Clowns are pretty hardy fish, especially if you get them at a decent size and they are tank raised. Before getting any live stock I would spend the $20 bucks on the API master saltwater test kit and get comfortable testing your own water.
