Best to wait 1.5-2 weeks between additions to a nano. In doing so you allow the biological filter to adjust and grow to handle to the waste products produced by the fish and the decomp of uneaten food.

Ok then, wait a month before you add any more fish. Keep some prime and freshly made up saltwater on hand, feed sparingly and keep testing for a detectable ammonia and nitrite level.

You're going too fast for such a young nano.

With all the said, I love 6-lines but not in a nano. In a small tank you want peaceful and passive fish if you are going to add other fish down the line. The 6-line probably seems like a sweet heart now, when and if it turns aggressive 3 months down the line, good luck catching it.

The six line in my old nano wouldn't let me add anything without it being a big jerk. Even bulling to death. Each fish is an individual and I hope yours works out. Coralline have good advise and I would wait at least a month. Let your system get some age and make sure it can handle the newly added bio load before you add more to it. Go slow! Best motto to follow in this hobby.

you might be in a tough spot already having the sixline. mine was an a$$ and I returned him after he bullied my smaller b/w ocellaris to death. That was on my 57g. on a 29 im sure after another month of the sixline establishing his territory, it would be tough to add another fish unless it was more aggressive or bigger then the sixline.

My friend has a sixline that later became fairly aggressive. It will pick on anything that won't defend itself. But she added a decent sized percula clown since and when the sixline approached it, the clown would turn and face her and she wouldn't attempt to nip the clown then. Also, she tends to swim around the rock and not bother fish much that are farther out in the water column, but they are in a 40 breeder which has a lot more space for this tolerance.

And I'd wait at least a couple weeks before getting something else.
