where are my zoas???

    thanks to all for the responses, it really happened with in few days from when I got it polyps looked healthy, I will try one of the dipping methods mention on the links provided, since my budget is a little low at the time I hope the peroxide will work and I will be very careful wit the dosage and procedures.since is a combo rock with a trumpet coral with 3 heads, looking at the pictures from Richardma and his observation , those that he circle are open and happy right now.

    Sometimes zoas do *just* melt away for no apparent reasons. Also it looks like you have them pretty high up in your tank. Maybe to close to the lights?

    I would not dip the trumpet coral. Zoas are much tougher and can tolerate more than many other corals can. I would watch them closely and see if any more die off. Sometimes you lose colonies, or parts thereof, and neighbors remain unaffected. Hopefully yours losses have ended.

    That link is likely not happening in your tank however it can definately give you an idea of how things that devour corals can actually hide in your tank without your knowledge. Mr. Bill is right. There are a lot of things that are capable of doing that and they only come out long after your lights are out.

    Is possible, I only have 19w of light , they are panorama pro led's though , so I'm not sure if it is to much , I haven't seen any bleaching.
