:confused:Hi there guys! I've been doing a LOT of reading, but I hope you can help me out on something. As I'm gathering everything together for my 150-gallon I'm trying to decide where I should place my heaters. I'm thinking of getting three Stealth heaters--a 250-watt and 2 200 watts each. Where should I place them? I was thinking of putting one in the sump--but where? Should I put another one in the refugium? I've read somewhere about people putting one in the overflow--is this a good idea? Any advice is, as always, greatly appreciated! ;D

All in the sump as water from your main tank ultimately has to run through your sump to warm up before returning to your tank!!!!

Sump is good place if you have one.
I would make sure to put the temp gauge in the Disply tank though. Never hurts to be safe.

As I recently found out, heaters need to be inspected. Mine went melt down on me for some reason.

I keep mine in my sump they are an eyesore in the main display tank in my opinion. Plus in the sump you get a lot of flow.
