As you might have read in my other posts, I have ignored my reef due to work obligations. In January I will begin to reconstruct – right now I am making my list of what I need.

My reef janitors (oh, excuse me – custodial engineers) are severely lacking in numbers. More or less I need to replenish my 180 with a crew of 150. In the past I would purchase from Garf.org – I saw they want $75 for shipping and handling, seems a bit excessive to me. Any suggestions on where to get a good deal on an entire crew?

Whilst I am posting, where you guys buying live rock from these days? I will be pulling rock after rock until I get my leather coral outbreak down to a decent sized colony (no more than 8x8 – right now its 4 foot by 2 foot !! ugh….to understand you would need to read my thread “the crimson ghost experience”)

For all of my CUC needs, I use John at Reefcleaners.org. Best around by far. He will also build a custom crew for you if you want.

Thanks - I checked out the web site, I might order one of his packages...great pricing and a 3reef supporter, sounds good. However he doesn't have any turbo's so I will still need to shop elsewhere for those, stars, crabs and red/blue legged hermits.

You could also send him a PM here and see if he can get those things for you. John is really good about helping when he can and I have never known him NOT to respond to a PM.

John is the best at ReefCleaners.
I think he does have blue legs, I was working out something with him with those included.

Definitely give John Maloney a call or PM. He'll try his best to hook you up with exactly what you need. There are tons of posts here that speak more than well about his business ethics and him going the extra mile(s) to accommodate customers.

John has hermits, and sometimes some crabs. Just look in the cleaners page.

    #1000 on Reefcleaners.org.

get a good 100 of those tiny cerinths. I bought 80 for my 180 and could use about that many more, but they do a Great job. I am VERY VERY VERY happy with them. they dont go after the film but do a good job on the hard stuff that grown down by the sand bed and on the edges. plus, the crabs wont kill them for shells. Mine are reproducing in my tank too.
