where to get a protein skimmer

    So I went to my LFS and they didn't have much there to pick from. I live in southern Ontario and one know where to get a good one????

    Craigslist, online retailers, other LFSs. I don't know how you can't find one through an internet search...

    I would order one online from one of sponsors if they will ship to Canada. We also have a couple of sponsors from Canada so I suggest starting there.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I'm thinking I will get the Reef Octopus Hang on the Back 1000 OCT BH1000. I have a 28g bow tank. Has anyone tried this skimmer or can give me advice on if I should get a different one?

    I have lots of good things about them. Never used it though. Should take care of you well.

    Thanks I'm new to this hole thing... This is the first hobby that I have gotten into where you cant just go to a store and ask people there. So I really appreciate the help and resource that 3reef offers

    Reef Octopus is one of the better brands. Try marinedepot.com, drsfosterandsmithaquatics.com, or anyone on the sponsor threads. Try CL first though.
