    Thats what I did and Marco Rocks The finest aquarium rock available has some awesome deals also.

    Oh and that fish place has live rock they will ship with purple coralline on it for $6 a lb

    for live rock I would say pass on the liveaquaria basic live rock. I bought that when I started my 75 and was really let down. then again I was peer pressured into it on another forum long since left behind. There was so much turf & GHA on it and die off. I must have had 2 inches of crud in the bottom of the bucket at the end of the cure. I didnt weigh it after and I should have but it was definitely 5lbs lighter if not more.

    LA & especially DD is still A+ in my book but thier live rock is a D- on my report card.

    yeah get dry rock and just seed with a piece of live rock. when i just first started and didn't know any better, i spent way more on live rock than i should have (no thanks to one of the lfs in town).
