Okay so some of the fish I want to get are kind of rare... No not a black or gem tang, i'm not rich... but I'm trying to get princess/ocellated damsels and speckled/fire damsels and i'm having trouble. All the standard online vendors are having trouble....I'm waiting to hear from a few of the sponsors of my local reef club, but maybe some of the sponsors here or maybe someone has had good experience somewhere.

    Thanks in advance!

Google either rare fish or the name of the fish you want. Usually someone who is selling it will come up.

The guy I use for all my supplies has just set up a business to cater to those that want rare and expensive fish. His website was just put up and its not complete yet but if you call him he is great and be able to tell you if he can get em or not.
    contact info:
    Sean Cormican
    Einstein Aquatics

Just make sure you put .ca not .com, you get a different company lol, already made that mistake. There is a contact form online to save on the long distance cost. Feel free to PM me if you need any help, I know him pretty well.

Kcbrad I was just looking at his site, yeah he does ship to the US. He can ship anywhere but there is a minimum order if a plane is required. I'm sure that doesn't apply to the US though. If you do order a fish in that he doesn't stock, he will keep it for I believe a minimum of 2 weeks to make sure that it is doing well before he ships it off to you, so it can take some time. But he is great to deal with. And like I said anyone is welcome to contact me if they have any questions I might be able to answer.

And keep in mind prices are in Canadian dollars, so will look a little higher. lol.

Sometimes? To date they've sold more rare fish online then anyone, not to mention they get fish no one else gets. Divers Den to be exact :)

AquaTouch gets some rare beauties as well.

Got any latin names on the fish you seek?

I'm looking for 2 each of these

    Pomacentrus vaiuli (Princess)
    Parma Oligolepir (large scale parma)
    Pomacentrus bankanensis (speckled/fire damsel)

I've seen them here and there but usually with an "email me when in stock" link instead of a "buy now"

Parma Oligolepir (large scale parma) IIRC has an ugly adult stage

You shouldn't have that tough of a time finding those, they're not considered "rare". Could be a seasonal issue as well.

Thanks on the adult stage on the parma... Its hard to find good adult/juvi pictures. The princess is my favorite, I think if I end up with all "common" LFS bought ones that'd be fine as long as I can have the princesses ;)
