Where to place cheato and mangroves in my fuge

    Complete myth!!!

    I don't know how this got started, but I've grown several mangroves from over 6" under the water to be fully leaved out of the water.

    As for the chaeto, it's all about surface area in contact with the light. The more surface area you have where photosynthesis you have the more growth and export you will have. I like to keep my chaeto spread thinly across the entire surface of my fuge and when it fills in a remove and thinly spread it again. Any chaeto down below the surface is not getting enough light to grow efficiently and should be removed.

    so i have been using this light to light my fuge

    Its 18watt 50/50

    but i also have this light.

    I have a 9watt 5000k bulb in it.

    Which one will grow my fuge better?
    I have cheato and macro?
