so i just bought Gumpdrop Coral Croucher off of DD that's eating frozen brine, and these fish have to be spot fed. But i am torn on where to put him.

I have two options, put him in the 46 and have a hard time trying to spot feed. Or put him in the 20 with my green spotted puffer.

I dont know what to do, im wanting to put him in the 20 with the puffer, i have had Puff with a blue damsel and purple psedochromis, the purple attacked puff and he remained in a corner all scared and upset, he left the damsel alone but the purple ended up killing the damsel. I have a few inverts and a flower pot in with him and he has left the things alone and has been a really good boy.

My worry with putting the Gumpdrop in with puff is that he is sooo small he may think he's a snack. I also have trouble keeping a stable temp in this tank, and i kind of slack on this tank as well.

He would probably do better in the reef because temps and parameters are stable, but i just worry about not finding him when i need to spot feed him.

Which one do you think i should put him in

I'd go with the reef. He'll learn when it's feeding time and come out.

Turn your circulation off after you put food in the tank and then spot feed the fish. Put it in the 46 with your SPS corals.

    46. Hopefully if you squirt the food towards his general area he will learn to come out and grab some.

deff turn off all circulation while feeding.

Fish are amazingly smart, he'll figure it out.

Also, it's a coral croucher, they perch on SPS don't they? Kinda need that to feel safe/secure...

I would also get rid of the purple meanie. If a chromis killed a damsel, that is MEAN, wow.
