Is the o. clown more likely to host with the Bubble tip anemone or the saddle anemone? Is there a chance that they will host with the BTAs? Which anemone do you guys recommend for this clownfish?

    Answers greatly appreciated.

In all reality clowns and anemones aren't as cut and dry as people think. Clarks clown is the most universal hostee, while bubble tips and saddles are the more universal hosts. Problem get deeper as many wild clowns will only host with certain anemones, certain anemones will ONLY host certain clowns and so on. A zebra anemone for example will only host a Clark. Tank raised clowns are more willing to host with other anemones or critters but tend to take a while to realize the concept.
I had a tank raised occelaris host with a Haitian pink tip and a condylactus, it shouldn't theoretically happen but it did. It took close to 14 months but it did, and I still have the photos to prove it. I also have had tomatos host with condys which again shouldn't happen. Right now my mated pair of true percs host in my frogspawn. At one point the tomato I mentioned hosted in a feather duster worm's crown.
In your set up I would recommend a bubble tip, as I said the saddles are tough to keep.
If you get tank raised clowns(which you SHOULD!!) it might take them a while to get the hang of the bubble but eventually they will.

    Good luck and happy researching!

I believe the saddle is the natural host for the o. clown. However they are supposed to be more difficult to care for. They also tend to roam the tank and tend to be fish eaters so they are not highly recommended for a reef tank.

BTAs are much easier to care for. I tried for a year to get an o. clown to host in it. He wouldn't even look at it. I gave up and bought a tomato clown. He started hosting it after about a month and a half.

I would go for a BTA. If he doesn't go for it, I would put a picture of another clown hosting a similar anemone next to the tank. Sound stupid, but I have heard success stories from people. :)

Naturally, the clowns will host whatever they feel comfertable in. Its not like you can force it on to them but picking short bubbly anenomes usually does it( that is if your clown excepts it). IME, EVERY clown that iv had has always hosted something. I had a pair host a groupof hairy mushrooms, then after they smothered that to death. They've decided to take to my pink/orange echino! I've never seen a clown host a hard coral.. pretty cool! On the other hand, I have a black n orange thhat paired and they hosted a big polyp rock untill again that got smothered.. now they just kinda hang out by my clam! On another note tho, I've never had a clown host an anenome. Neway you just gotta let the clowns do there own thing n if it was ment to be it will happen!

My clown hosts pulsing Xenia and sometimes will host our hammerhead or frogspawn. He is a weirdo.

We have a video of him going back and forth between all three.

You don't need a nem, in fact this may be the better route. As others have said, they will find something to be hosted by. If you do go the nem route, I actually think LTAs are a bit better. They do not deflate as much as BTAs and OCs don't seem to like that aspect of BTAs. Also, IME, LTAs don't wander quite as much, nems, especially BTAs can be a PITA like that.
