which bulb for metal halide?

I own coralife 150w Metal Halide. I am going to be getting a new bulb. Im curious what bulb I should get?
I hear lots of people tell me to go for Phoenix, but Im wondering what options are out there for me.

For me, rather then blue ish, I like more uhm..purple ish color, is there any bulb that produce nice purple/violet color?

 

Ask Dingo, hes pretty much the expert on lights, as for Phoenix I run them and have 14k bulbs which gives a great blue color, I don't even need actinics. As for the more purplish colors I am not sure.

 

I dont know of a purplish colored MH bulb, I believe you need to supplement with a T5 fiji purple actic to get that tint.

 

Xm 20k is pretty purple. Check my build thread and I have pics of it. But I got a 250

Should I just go for phoenix?

 

I was a big fan of the Radium's prior to switching to LED's... Loved the look of the Radiums and all my corals did very well using them...

 

Pheonix 14k..Best bulb in the world...I love it.
