I've never run a FO tank (or FOWLR) but I would imagine the same principles apply both for salt and freshwater tanks. The least aggressive fish need to be added first inasmuch as they can establish territory. The plan is that when you add the more aggressive fish they're "the new kids on the block" and aren't as inclined to dominate the entire tank. Simply put, they don't have a territory yet whereas your less aggressive ones do.

This rule seems to work very well although there are always exceptions to rules it seems. :-/

BRAVO! BRAVO! It's awesome to hear people doing thorough research before throwing in everything but the kitchen sink. ;D

I wish I could help you more regarding your fish list but I've never run an aggressive tank. However, there are lots of people who have and I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you determine the best way to do this.

    You're very welcome. :)

Your fish talking: "Dude, go away, this is my house and you're kinda mean so I don't want you over for coffee". ;D
