which fish first?

which should i add first? the picasso triggerfish, or the dwarf lionfish? im just wondering because im gonna start saving soon to get one or the other. i think triggerfirst, then a larger dwarf lionfish later. but im not sure...

 

idk.. thats a tough one.. ( for me anyways)

i think i would add the lion fish first because is the slowest eater/ swimmer... so i would think it be best if he gets stablished with the tank first.

then add the trigger.

 

i never had luck with dwarf lionfish. i think i get them too small. i have a new place that has had them at 5 inches. i think the trigger first, then the large lion. but im still not sure.

 

If you are going to add them both then definitely add the lionfish first then the trigger, but I can tell you from experience that triggers don't mix very well with lionfish( and I'm sure there are some exceptions).

 

picking at the fins right? ok ill get a med lion then a trigger. thanks.
