    Looking to get a list of fish that are the most interesting and have a 'personality'.

    Opinions? Would be cool to know why also.

    For what size tank, but IMO, my clowns and wrasse are the most fun to watch interact, my YT the most fun to watch swim.

    Tangs are always good. The longer in captivity then the nicer they become. After a while they will eat out of your hands and after a few years are even comfortable with you touching them.

    Clowns and I had a longnose Hawkfish that was full of personality. I would also say some blennys have a lot of personality

    pearly jawfish
    blue dot jawfish
    flame hawk
    blue hippo
    porcupine puffer (not for a reef though)

    I am still new to the hobby, but so far Bluespotted Jawfish & Flame Angel have the best personality for smaller fish. FA is the only fish I have who will actually come up to the glass whenever I walk up to it; all others scurry away!

    Royal Grammas have some interesting personality and a unique lifestyle. They love to hang upside down in caves and will swim in all kinds of interesting angles going into and out of the cave.
