Maybe the percula, if it's small, but tomato or maroon and you might have a hard time w/ most new additions. what's wrong w/ the beauty first? acknowledging that he can't get any other angels afterwards.

I would go with a couple chromis's because for the price of any of the other fish you listed you could add 3 or four chromis's and still have money left over they are the least aggressive fish you have listed you never want to add aggressive fish first or in my opinion expensive fish first I would put a few chromis's in and then maybe next the clown you may also consider an occelarius clown ( cheaper more hardy almost the same look minus the black stripe)

Oh and I am speaking only from my experience I have had or currently have all the fish you listed and I love all of them all great choices and they could all be put together eventually if you start with the chromis then maybe the clown. The Tang and the Angel are tricky because they can both be a little bossy maybe those two could be put in at the same time. I also wouldn't do more than one of the Angel types.

I personaly like the tank raised false percula clowns.
Mine are full of life. they will follow you around while you stare at your tank for endless hours.

and they always seem to know when there about to be fed.
from all the reading i've done they seem to be very hardy.

    whichever your choice, good luck!
pretty exciting time when adding the first fish. ;D

I voted for the coral beauty, is a real pretty fish and I have no clue if is going to be a fowlr or reef, now if it is a reef I have to go with the ocelarys and it's not listed

yeah the percula clown would be safest out of the group and out of all clowns but he already listed it as a perc.the reason i did'nt go for the angel is cause of the way they aggitate corals ,some more than others, and idk what corals he is planning.the tang might be delicate for a new tank and the chromis need to feed often, they are hyper little fish that never stop moving and eatting and the way i feed, they would starve.but hey, every tank is different

I voted for the clown, a tang or angel should never be added to a tank so young

Cheers so far all, It would be great to have both angels in the same tank, but in a 55 i just can't see it happening, but i would love to add one of them eventually, the yellow tang i love too, but again maybe a 55 is to small anyway, green chromis beautifull fish ,looks great under the right lights and in 4 or 5's, clown nice fish too, these are not necessarily fish i want altogether in my tank at some time, but rather fish i like and would like to add one of these next, for those who have not read threads of my current fish, i have 1xblue yellow tailed damsel, 1xneon damsel, 1xmidas blenny, maybe this info will help determine what would be the best fish for my next addition?

Also i do plan on getting a anemone after six months, and also adding soft corals, at the moment i have green mushrooms...
