Which H.O.T skimmer will fit...???

Thinking of getting a different skimmer for my 100g cube, but my tank's got 4 inch bracing...plus the tank glass its a total of almost 4.5 inches...

No sump, dont plan on using an overflow either...

are there any H.O.T skimmers out there that would fit out of box or with minimal mods?

i was looking at either the Turboflotor or the coralife super skimmers...
please dont say aquaC remora... cos i cant get them around here....

or am i just gonna have to get somebody to come in an trim the brace back a bit?

 

Are you saying you only have 4.5" of space between the brace and side wall of the tank? Where do you live? Most people purchase Remora's online?

 

I have a 4 inch brace that goes aroudn my tank... plus the tank glass of about .5 inches... that makes it 4.5 inches from the back of the tank..to the water line... the clearance from the back of the tank to the wall is easy..i can hang it off the side if i wanted to...problem is... i live on the other side of the world..Hong kong/Macau and there are no remora stockists here...the remora plus shipping would end up costing more than all my other equipment put together! lol... to put it into perspective a bit better... for the price of the remora plus shipping i could probably get 3 turboflotors off the shelf!...

 

Get the turbofloater, its a better skimmer.

 

which leads me to my original question... will the turboflotor 1000 Hang on tank version fit over that 4 inch lip ?
