Im thinking about switching my lighting up a little bit. Atm I have 2x10k daylights and 2x actinics, 48" fixture on a 75 gallon. I see on here, http://www.3reef.com/forums/reef-lighting/kelvin-spectrums-42662.html how each light is different on the kelvin scale but then also read that the higher k rating produces more colorin corals and photosynthetic inverts?.?...
I was thinking of going with a single 6,700k daylight bulb, single 10,000k daylight, and 2 actinics. Would this be the best for color?

It would be fine with me if 3/4 of the light went to color and 1/4 to photos.

If im totally wrong then shoot me a suggestion on lights. I would prefer Coralife bulbs.

I wouldn't use that 6700 bulb. Try two 10k's and two 420nm. Just remember to add the bulbs one at a time and wait at least two weeks in between. I have this setup on my 90 and love the color.

KZ 14K, ATI Actinic+, ATI Blue+ and maybe a 10k daylight. You get the daylight spectrum you need plus the colour enhancing spectrum you should want. +1 on the schedule for changing them out you don't want to shock your inhabitants.JMHO ;)
