They both have pro's and con's. The Level-Loc is nice because you have a backup float valve in case anything else fails. With the JBJ unit, you could overflow the sump with a float switch failure.

Now the Level Loc works best with a pressurized setup like an RO unit, while the JBJ is more for turning on a pump to pump water into the sump from a second container.

So, How do you want your ATO to work? What are you planning on connecting it to? A pump from a second container or your RO unit?

thanks for the input, since my ro/di unit is in another room, i could run long tubing but rather put a tub or bucket with a small pump in the stand.

The JBJ would be the better solution for your setup then. With the Level-Loc you would need some way to force the water to the level-loc it is not setup to turn a pump on and off out of the box.

ok thanks, also i think i may plug the unit into a timer and only have it run two times a day for added security.
