So everything is finally setup and I am just waiting another 1 week at least till my parameters are fully in check to add my CuC. As far as later on down the road these are some of the tank inhabitants I will be looking at. Do you all see any downsides or complications in this list? Its a 20 gallon high by the way.

-Yellow Watchman Goby (or High Fin Banded Goby)
    -Pistol Shrimp
    -Emerald Crab
-Some sort of blenny (Bi-color likely)
-Skunk Cleaner Shrimp (or maybe a few Peppermint Shrimp)

Out of this list of livestock, which would be the first I should add? I am so sick of aggression issues in my FW tank that I just want a simple and peaceful tank. Territorial issues are fine, i just dont want fish livestock killing each other.

I would add the blenny last, but the shrimp, crab and goby can be added at any point IMO.

Don't get the peppermint shrimp then. I've had bad experiences with them. You don't want many shrimp because they're opportunistic, and they get worse about it the hungrier they are. I had to trap all the peppermint shrimp out of my tank because they wouldn't leave my snails alone.

I was wondering if you have any Live rock and/or Live sand? The yellow watchman goby will usually borrow in the sand under a rock.

Alright I will add the blenny last. Yea i like the scarlet cleaner shrimps more than peppermint so i will likely get 1 cleaner shrimp. As for the live rock and sand yes i do have some. I have probably 10lbs live rock seeding 10 lbs of base rock along with 10 lbs of live sand and 10 lbs of dry sand. I was low on costs so im letting the live seed the dry. I feel like i dont have much pods or anything though. Ive only seen a few swimming aroud now and then. My LFS said emerald crabs would only eat bubble algae, is this true? Or are they a typical CuC and will scavenge? I really like the look of them and would love to have one.

The cleaner shrimp will look great and so will the goby. I also came from the fresh water tank and just love the saltwater tank and am thinking of setting up another one soon. It will amaze you how much life is growing in your tank, especially when you start getting into mushrooms and other corals. Best of luck, and be sure to add some pics when you can.

Yup thanks very much. Yea this makes my FW tank look so boring. I am just waiting for my parameters to get right. My ammonia is still at .5 and still no visible signs of nitrates even though i went through your typical huge diatom bloom after setting up a tank, the diatoms have stopped. So I would think i am on the end of my cycle but its weird to not see any nitrates yet. maybe they are all still nitrites? Anyways just waiting for these parameters to get in check, i will likely be ordering my CuC from reefcleaners next week.
