Which Reef Brite for Shimmer and Pop ??

    Looking to add a single Reef Brite LED for some shimmer and pop, should I go with the 50/50 or Blue ?

    Current lighting is Tek T5

    I imagine if you're looking for "shimmer and pop", that the Blue would be better than the 50/50.

    Shimmer is the key, I have also read that the blues done t provide as much shimmer.

    I believe the shimmer will be produced from the intensity which the LED is run at and what type of lens it has. A tighter focused lense like a 90 degree will focus more light in a smaller area which will increase the "shimmer" you'll see.
