I bought beautiful Coral banded shrimp for memorial weekend and put him on tank during night. Next day morning I noticed it's skin is completely removed, it don't have that red/white stuff.

later noticed my yellow tang and maroon clown killing and eating him slowly. Very bad to see it's being teared apart :(. This means I cannot keep any shrimp in my tank? Never thought yellow tang and clown fish being so mean.

The shrimp had molted and the fish took advantage of the situation. If you do not have good places for the shrimp to hide then the same thing will happen every molt.

hmm, i suspect something was wrong with the shrimp already for a clown and tang to even take advantage of the situation. especially a tang. did you acclimate him appropriately?

They can molt that quickly, the change in parameters can do it.

I think so..most of fishes I try to acclimate during night, since they feel safe at dark. did same for Shrimp, float bag for 15mins, add water slowly and after 30mins added him. he straight away headed behind rock.
