Which skimmer for my 210?

I am debating between these two skimmers. To be honest, I really don't know the difference between the two but I am hoping someone can point this out. I am just looking for the best skimmer I can get from my 210 under $350 and fit in my Trigger Systems sump. Footprint less than 16x16.

Neither of those are really big enough, unless you're planning for an extremely light bio-load. You really want to look for something rated for 300-350gal.

That's a bummer, but I definitely would rather spend money and have great success in my tank. What about this guy? I think it would fit.

Crap...I just re-measured and I have 10 x 12 inches to fit comfortably. I could probably squeeze 11 x 12 if i had to.

What other brands should I check out that would perform well with a small foot print?

I've really only looked at the reef octopus.

 

I have that on my 210g and it's working great for me. I"m very happy with it and I have a pretty heavy bio load.

It really sounds like you need a bigger sump.

 

Too late for that.

 

Check maybe an external one that is fed off your return pump. That would save the space. I'm not sure if there is one that fits that size for your tank.

 

What about this guy? It is rated to 300G, but does that really mean much?

I think I could squeeze it in.
