Which skimmer to buy...

    skimmers have alot that define their useage, I think beckett style's work the best but I've always had needlewheels and they've done fine for me, under 200 I think the coralife 125g rated would be great, in all reality if you can delay it and do 400 I'd go with a small bullet or a nice ASM or something

    Look through the threads in this forum, lots of good info. the deltecs and elos skimmers are nice, so are the pm's

    I have had all 3 coralife skimmers. They are ok but I believe the newer Octopus skimmers do a better job. Buy the best skimmer that you can afford many times you can get a used one at a fraction of the cost of the new one. Look at the bay or on reef web sites. I currently use a MR3 but it is for larger systems.
