What is the opinion on the following Tangs I do not have any of them yet in my tank and I have plenty of room.

    (1) Sailfin my #1 choice
    (2) Blue Hippo #2 choice
    (3) Naso # 3 choice
    (4) Yellow or Purple # 4 choice

I really only want to add 1 or 2 of these and I want to know the survivabilty ,temperment ,feeding requirements etc. I am listing the fish I have now in my signature.

I'm confused. You say that you don't have any of those listed yet but you list a sailfin tang in your signature? I'll hold off on my answer until I hear back :)

sailfin die easily if stressed when adjusting to new aquarium, but pretty hard afterwards.
blue hippo nice fish but very territorial, doesn't like other tangs
naso great fish if you have the space, have had no territory issues with it
yellow tang industry standard, kinda boring now, scares easily but because of that its always darting around the aquarium.
purple tang great looking fish, good choice if you have the money.

edit: always get the more expensive tang first because its more likely to survive with out other tangs attacking it.

 OK, if a sailfin is your number one choice, by all means get one. Just keep in mind that all of the other tangs that you've listed, except the blue hippo, have the same body shape as the sailfin which may cause fighting. Purple tangs are expensive and notoriously aggressive. Yellow tangs can be aggressive as well although I've never had one that was. So, all that being said, if you decide to go with the sailfin, add it last and make sure that it's significantly smaller or larger than the naso, purple or yellow. If you just go with the sailfin and the hippo, add the sailfin last.

I had a yellow tang that was horrible. Extremely aggressive and once it started to munch on my zoa's, it had to go.

As for my choice of Tangs... Look in to a Powder Brown or White Cheek.... I miss my Buckietang!
