A 120 gallon tank is a nice size but them are gonna be some massive tangs when they grow up. I just bought a 300 gallon marineland for my baby dori, shes about 4 inches rite now. Heres my tank:

My vote goes to the Naso. I love mine, she has the best personality. Loves attention. She lets us pet her (and enjoys it), eats from our hand, isn't even slightly aggresive. Loves having her picture taken. In fact, she makes it hard to take pictures of anything else because she insists moving right infront of the camera and staying there ;D She insists on being the center of attention! 8)

On another note, before I had her, I had a hippo tang, and didnt enjoy it at all. All they do is hide unless it's feeding time, and it was aggresive towards my other fish. I know this probably is not the case with all hippo's, but I have heard that most hippo's seem to be like the one that I had.

Naso / Blonde Naso (as PackLeader posted a pic of the blonde) and Achilles are my 2 favs, I can't stand hippo tangs Ive had two and they were both very skittish, would never see them except for feeding time they'd be hiding otherwise
I like the power brown and blues also as well as the Atlantic Blue

Oh yeah another often looked over Tang if you have a really HUGE tank is a Vlamingi, their a really cheap fish, they change colors with moods and will literally come sit in your hand and chill out

I have a yellow tang, love it, but they are pretty common.

I have a yellow as well. I needed a splotch of yellow in my tank and, although it kind of bugged me that it is such a common fish, I bought it anyway. And I have no regrets. He is great.

Geek and Packleader have my two favorites. With Geek's though there are two species that look very much the same, the Acanthurus nigicans and the Acanthurus japonicus. What Geek has posted and what I would recommend also is the japonicus. It is easier to keep alive. Just an all around better fishy IMO. And watch out. One of the LFSs that I used to go to routinely sold japonicus for nigicans. That is in everyone's favor, but they were incorrect time and time again and had no clue. So be careful.

+1 on that. I thought I had a regular Naso for a while (as the LFS had sold it) until learning it was a blonde naso. I definately made out better on that one. Same behavior and care, just the blonde's are a heck of a lot rarer 8)
