Not listed as reef safe either. Assuming that is them being overly cautious though?

Eh, there's this sigma with the Halichoeres genus in that they will all consume inverts. Some species (the bigger ones in the genus) most definitely do. However, many of the smaller ones don't, or only on occasion. Yes, there is a small risk with the Halichoeres genus, as they may pick at hermits, maybe snails (especially if they get turned over), and sometimes feather dusters.

Here's the thing; feed properly, and any occasional picking they might do is no big deal.

Saw those when they came up for sale yesterday. They would have instantly been mine if I could accomodate 3 more fish in my tank, but alas.

Hooded's don't come up for sale very often, and a trio at that.

Yes, I tend to keep an eye out for rare wrasses. :)

I have no clue as to why some sites show radiants as not reef safe. I've never seen one harm anything we want in our tanks. I have seen more examples of tangs that are nrs than radiants (0).
Mystery wrasses can and will eat shrimp. Same goes for green grass wrasses which some sites show as reef safe.

Doing well. Thanks for asking! Been very busy at work and with wedding plans. We'll be in n cali on the 26th for my wedding on the coast27TH on the 27TH. Then we'll drive all over northern cali for a week vacation. The honeymoon will be in winter when we will go somewhere tropical.

My guess is that they will eat your CUC and that is why they are labeled as not reef safe. if you have really large snails, you may be fine.

That's what that typically means, but in the radiants case, that's good not true as they are great reef fish and don't eat any cuc .
