While in San Diego...

My wife and daughter and I are vacationing in Sa Diego for a week and I want to check out a good LFS while we're here. I'm not planning on buying anything necassarily, just somethinf different, being from East Texas everything is shipped in, it would be really cool to see somethinf fresh.

 

You can check out aquasd.com (not sure of the store name, but that is their website). Also, I believe Reef Empire is down there, and Ive seen some good corals come out of that store.

 

Anyone else have any suggustions? What about something we should see while we're here? We've got 5 day passes to the zoo, wildlife park and sea world so thats taken care of. Planning on the IN-n-Out Burger too, Mission Beach...? We're gonna go by a Verizon store since my wife phone got soaked at the dolphin show at Sea World and then we're gonna go by Aqua SD, they're open till 7 today...

 

When I was down, AquaSD wasnt a store so much as run out of a guys(Will and Alice IIRC?).

Now that thats out, GO! They have an AMAZING selection of VERY cool stuff. It makes me sad that I am now 3k miles away, but I am putting together a big order now anyways.

You also have Pacific Reef in Orange County which is an hour-ish away, and Piece of the Reef in Irvine by the airport.
