After being out of the hobby for awhile, I bought a Nuvo 8 gallon nano today.

I know the rock needs a little chiseling and the kitchen rack it is sitting on is no good, but I've got it up and cycling for the time being.

It feels good to have an aquarium again!!

I'm going to keep this hardy and simple.

Shrimp and goby pair, which is the only reason I added sand.
    Zoas, rics, shrooms.
Maybe a clam right up top.

After the displacement of the rock and sand, the tank only took 5 gallons.

My LFS that is 3 miles from home, sells saltwater at .65$/gal. So I won't be adding anything or skimming, just doing small weekly water changes.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Sweet little tank.

How is the light? Will it support a clam?

Congrats on getting it done so quickly and getting back in.

I've seen pics of SPS under this lamp. And if I were to add a clam, it would be on top of the rock just a few inches under the surface.

If memory serves it's an 8w led, they have a chart on their site that details par levels from the light at different levels
