    Update Saturday!!

Added zoas, a few rics, and some red algae.

And the Skyye light doesn't cut it, waiting for BML to release their controllable channel fixture soon.

    Update Tuesday! iPhone pics

I upgraded the media basket to the AUQA Gadget Custom Caddy 16 plus the Magna Fuge Light, so now we have a nice little chaeto/red gracilaria fuge with a small rubble bed for pods. Replaced the fine white sugar sand to Hawaiian black because I wanted to try a black substrate, and because my pistol shrimp was constantly stirring up the water with fine slit. The large size of the black granules is prefect for the goby/shrimp, and the nassarius snails have no problem burying down as well. The yumas aren't doing so great. At first I had them down low and they faded, so now they're up high, and I hope like hell they will recover soon.

Moved to Deerfield Beach last week, new room.

The magnet box doesn't fit in the media compartment (I called IM and explained the silliness of this QC oversight), but a Command Strip works like a charm!!

Now, if BML could just get their dim-able multichannel fixtures on the market, my corals could bask is some full spectrum goodness.

what is but a Command Strip?

what I do not like about the magnet is it pulls the custom caddy to the back(I have a 38) so the overflow water does not actually overflow into the caddy.

I was thinking I need a smaller magnet that fits between the glass and the caddy itself.. is that what you did?

    Chris,

At Innovative Marine, it's as if some of the designers have never even laid eyes on the tanks they design equipment for. What really annoyed me was the official width dimension of the magnet box for the MagnaFuge LED light is 2.76", mine was 3⅛". So their own in-house gear didn't fit in its advertised spot (the box was physically was too wide to go horizontally down the media compartment) Doh.......

This is the command strip that actually works PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!

    You are welcome.

Thanks, I couldn't believe how quickly it started feeding. Seems right at home.
