You will need a very stable environment with strong lighting and preferable little to no corals until the nem finds a place it likes. You will need to be happy with where it decides to go. Carpets will eat anything that gets to close to them including clownfish that are not covered in the nems slime.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

I would be very cautious in buying a white carpet anemone and make sure you are not getting a very bleached anemone instead.

Ic sounds like i'll have to wait and see how this nem is doing in the lfs
kind of weird to see a domino damsel playing in the center of the carpet as we'll...

uhhh, i actually baught a green capret about 7months for my biocube and i liked it, it got way to big for my tank so i had to trade it sadly. i dont have nothing about about a year of experiance in saltwater aquariums and mine was doing great, had some real deep greens, lfs said they have never seen one so good looking. i also had it under the stock pc's that the biocube came with and it was in the sandbed, so u dont need real strong light. make sure u feed it though it will eat your fish. It got my mandarin and my sixline so i had to buy new ones. imo go for it, as long as its not bleached.

I wouldn't get one. My friend decided to get a green carpet for his 55 and it got huge and outgrew the tank and to add on top of that ate like 6 of his fish in about a year. so you tell me if its worth it ha ha

I wouldn't advize anyone to buy a carpet or a white anemone. Carpets are one of the hardest to keep healthy and white is a sign of bad health in an anemone. I also have to warn you that if you put a carpet nem in a tank with other species of nems, it will kill them. They have a much stronger sting than other species, get huge and don't respond well to other nems encroaching on their resources.
