    i have white dots on my aquarium glass any ideas what are those?

    Without a picture hard to say for certain

    could be
    snails
    tube worm casts
    hydriods ( look like little star fish/ they are jelly fish and they move about)
    could be lots of things I never had and thus am not aware of to be honest.

    get a macro image up if possible that will help

    to add to Steve's list--spirorbid worms. Of course, this isn't a guess without a picture, it's just a usual suspect in the world of white spots on the glass.
