They look like hydroids. Pluck em' out if they are.

Just pluck them out with tweezers and rinse them out in between?

Not quite sure on the rinsing. It would probably be a good idea and couldn't hurt. Make sure they are hydroids. You don't want to start plucking on aiptasia for instance. Just google them and click on images. From your pic, that's what they look like to me.

We've had aiptaisias, we kalk the holes and suffocate them! Not much else has worked and the LR is so porous that there is no real way to get an injection of juice into them.

    Thanks for your help!

They are Spionid Worms and micro Feather dusters. If they clearly have a tube and hide in them when messed with, they are not hydriods or aiptasia.

I took your advice and went after them with the tweezers! I think I lost one or two in the water, but they aren't harrassing my zoas anymore and now they're wide open and happy again! I don't think they hurt them, I just think they were irritating them. They're pretty hardy, my hermits like to sleep on them and they don't close up...but those things had them where they'd hardly open halfway.

    Thanks again!!!
