White growth

    Ok so here are two different things growing on my LR. The upper left is kinda stringy and the lower right alomst looks like anemone tentacles but its now. It is attached to the rock, Thats the closest thing I could describe it to! Thanks!!

    Looks like a sponge, or a majono anemone. I cant really tell.

    I know I am sorry, Im taking pics from my phone and can only get so close. Do the Majano anems get big? Are they a concern?

    Haha, I just googled the majoano and of course.....pest! And wouldn't you know it...its on a piece of LR that is totally inaccessible! Hooray for me! :)

    It looks like a sponge to me,but if it is a majano,you can use a syringe full of boiling tank water to cook him right where he's at.

    ok so tell me this, what is the identifying feature for a majano? Do I need to wait untill its bigger to tell?

    A majano is somewhat shaped like a polyp,sorta like a zoanthid,heres a pick of a typical majano,however there are many types of pest nems.

    thats a sponge and definately not mojano
