white milky looking stuff growing on my rocks

    well im new to the hobby and have no idea what it is its only growing on the dry rock i put in there not the live rock. its milky clearish whitish film growing it seems to be taking over the dry rock. weird its not on the live rock. is it bad good? or what is it

    someone told me sponges but i wasnt sure. i wanted more peoples opinions. is it bad or good?
