White or translucent spongy growth on my rock

    I have them also. They are some type of sponge. If we had Angel fish I believe they would eat it.

    Sounds like a tunicate. They're very common.

    i have them as well, but they only occur in my sump. maybe its because i have a couple angels in my dt.

    the ones in my tank that look exactly like that are called scypha sponges.
