white spot treat without medicine

I read one book says that you can treat the white spot by raise the temp to 85F the paracite not handel thise temp is it right. and what the pest solution for this disease.

 

if you raise it to 85 degree all you're doing is causing the parasites to speed up their reproductive cycle. Which would give you false hope because the parasite will release from the fishes body and dispurse its egg sack(cyst) into the substrate and then in 14-21 days, you will have more.

Also raising your temp up, you run the risk of killing your corals if you have any.

 

There really is no "one" solution for this parasite commonly referred to as ich.

An effective method is to quarantine the fish and treat with copper. But the real problem is back in the main tank where this parasite resides, so having the main tank fishless for a good 4 weeks would help. Ich needs a host to survive. No fish, no host, no ich.

 

Works for my tanks thats all I ever do is just take it to 81F or so and add a air stone. Thats the point f elevating the water temperature is to speed up the life cycle and get them all hatched up and out . Then the fish will build a little immunity and as their stress levels go down and they all settle in then the parasites have no host and then go dormant. That is if its Ich..More make the mistake that Oodinium /velvet is ich and its really not
