They are all eating good so far. Also, I think I may have found the reason why my fish were stressed. I took a water sample to the LFS today to check my PH and it was only 7.8. I bought a new ph test and added some buffer to the water this morning and the PH is now at 8.1. Hopefully that helps.

in my experience let it ride itself out, make sure there eating all you put in your tank. Eatign fish is a healthy fish in my opinion. Qt to me is a waste of time and will never do it and have had much luck doing what tangster told me to do. I would leave them in the tank so you dont cause more stress and end up killing them. Keep making them eat with some garlic and keep us updated.

UPDATE: I lost my purple dottyback today to ich:(. So I have now officially decided to setup a hospital tank. I'm going to petco tomorrow to pick up everything I need to treat my fish. I should be able to get everything a Petco right?

Maybe, but as soon as I put the fish back into the tank it can become reinfected. That's why I'm going to put my fish in a hospital tank and keep the DT fish less for 6-8 weeks.

Does anyone know how long I should treat with copper? I heard 2 weeks is this accurate?

Good thinking, I just beat ich with this exact method. I was going to try the "ride it out" approach, but after waking up one morning and seeing my yellow tang covered in white spots I knew it had to be treated or I was going to lose him. It really sucks having your display tank empty especially when people come over and ask why your fish aren't in the nice tank and you have to explain "because its riddled with parasites and i'm waiting for them to die off".
