For a few days now, there have been tons of white spots on the surface of the water only in my return section. What could this be?

No. I wish they were pods, but they're only on the surface and I have a pump in the return section to agitate the water.

Hmm not sure what they are. I have white spirals on all my walls that hard white and hard to the touch. Im sure they are little feather dusters.

I would wait to see if anyone else has an idea!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Could have been shrimp larva.

    Could of been bristleworm epitoke.
