White Spots?

    Can anyone let me know what these white spots are that are popping up on some rock and here on a clamshell in the picture? Are they bad/good, etc...?

    can you give a little bit of description. I THINK Its a small calcium cluster nothing to worry about. if its soft itmight be small sponges starting in a weird spot hahah. Either way i dont think its bad and you have no need to sound the alarms8)

    I am not sure if they are hard or not....there are quite a bit of them.

    That's a big clam. lol. They look soft to me, but there's no real way of knowing without putting your hands in the tank to touch it.

    Until they lay them all over your glass... and they take a little extra scrapping to get the egg ring off if you leave them there too long.

    It can get a little unsightly, IMO, but tis the price we pay for snails.
