I just got home and noticed these streaks on my pseudo and I am not sure what to make of it. It doesn't look like what I understand Ich to look like, but I would imagine it isn't a good thing either way.

He , or she, is still eating normally and still chasing after my damsel every once in a while. I wouldn't say it would be stress because the damsel just runs away and never chases back.

All of my other fish seem to be fine. The only changes as of late are last night I started using new pumps on my wavemaker and new water from my R/O system. A week ago I added in a piece of LR with some shrooms and Kenya trees on it.

Any help would be AWSOME and if there is something I can do to help him, or her, out please let me know.

I am no expert by any means, but to me they look like sting marks. Do you have an anemone?

Fortunately, that's not ich. I'm not 100% sure but to me it looks somewhat like damage from sharp objects. Do you have any fish that would be capable of doing this?

A sting also looks like a good answer. It looks deep so I'd assume a cut/damage or a sting from something. It does seem quite healthy either way so I wouldn't say it's much to worry about (maybe I can get a little back up on this). The scars will heal eventually. Good luck!

As far as fish go no stinging. All of my corals are listed in sig. I am wondering now if he may have gotten into the one of the pumps while it was shut off from the wavemaker and stayed there too long.
