white tree looking thing?

    Hey everyone,
    On one of my live rocks, there is this thing thats growing. its about a centimeter in length now. It is a white tree looking growth and has a base that is green... that is the part that attached to the rock. Does anyone have any idea what this may be? I tried uploading the picture a few times but does not work, i will try it again later. thanks yall

    Total shot in the dark but maybe it is a finger leather.

    I was going to say foraminiferan but the green base threw me off, unless the green is due to algae growth? In such cases, a photo would be required.

    alright, so crystal finally got a picture of it to work. Here it is. What is it? and i dont believe its anything that anyones said it is so far.

    Earns a big "Huh!" from me. No idea! But it looks like you have two of them.

    Could be a coral polyp, could be a sponge or hydra, doesn't look like a pineapple or apitasia... on the other hand, it could be darn nearly anything from an algae to an alien. Is that a sponge to the bottom right?
