We discovered these guys living behind our rock when we moved the rock and exposed them. they look like they are several inches long, very white, and have a clear opening at the top. i can't find the base - it must be back and low behind the rocks. what are they and are they okay?

I believe they are sponges, mine sometimes grow like that, but really need a better image.

    Welcome to 3reef, BTW. :)
