    i have one of those also. but mine is a little bluesh to clear. and it walks. what a ka winky dink. i was about to post the same thing.

    I would say it is aiptasia

    Could be aptasia, but I'm not convinced it is. The striped ones are something I see that arrive on corals all the time, in person you wouldn't think it was aptasia. They don't reproduce out of controll. I have a pic and ID some place, might take a day or two to find it though.

    Do aiptasia need the same amount of lite that other inverts need? Would a lack of light kill it?

    Looks like an anemone. Aiptasia most probably.

    No and no. These things can live through just about anything.....except dry land :)
